I have two grown children and a large standard poodle. We enjoy spending as much time as possible in my large yard, where I plant new perennials and move the existing ones to a more optimum location. I enjoy gardening, reading, walking, bicycling and spending time with my family and friends.Accounting is my second career. I have a degree in microbiology and worked in research laboratories in the areas of DNA sequencing and immunology. I was out of the work force as a full time mom for a few years. When I returned to work, I became an income tax preparer. I enjoyed the work and the clients, so I returned to school. After receiving a Masters degree with an emphasis in Taxation, I sat for the CPA exam. I have been with this firm since 1997 and became a partner in 2002. I enjoy working with our clients on individual and business planning and business start up issues. The growth of our firm has allowed me to meet a variety of interesting people and learn about their business and personal goals.
I am a proud Colorado Native, grew up and went to school in Golden Colorado. I married my high school sweet heart and have two wonderful boys. There I had the privilege working with special needs students for over 12 years and now I’m back working in an administrative position. I love meeting new people. I love to hunt big game, go camping, hiking, riding our Harley Davidson, creating beautiful stained glass panels, gardening, but most of all I love spending my time with my wonderful family.

After passing the CPA exam, I came to Colorado where I spent my career doing accounting for private industry. After a foray into IT, I found tax and public accounting which I find so much fun due to the constant variety and interactions. I love getting to know our clients and like to approach each client’s tax situation as a new puzzle to evaluate for optimum tax savings and planning. I am in the process of obtaining CPA licensure. Meanwhile, I earned the Enrolled Agent designation and this will be my 6th tax season. I am very happy to be joining the strong team at Linda Holdredge & Associates.
The lighter summer schedule that comes with tax accounting allows my husband, Phil, and I to indulge our passion for road biking.
